We self-funded The Inconvenience Store, a provocative digital experience exposing the harsh reality of six-week abortion bans — and mobilizing voters to protect reproductive rights.

The Problem

In 12 U.S. states, abortion is banned after just six weeks — often before someone even knows they’re pregnant. These laws have life-altering consequences, yet many don’t grasp the true stakes or the punishing hurdles they create.

The Solution

The Inconvenience Store is an intentionally unshoppable online store that recreates the barriers people face under six-week bans. Pop-ups, age gates, contradictory instructions, and a relentless ticking clock forced users to feel the frustration first hand, then pointed them to vote.gov to take action.
